Thinking about Peace in Times of War: Dirty work? Why German politics' avoidance of reality is so dangerous for our country and Europe

The Institute of Political Science and the Faculty of Theology would like to extend an invitation for our upcoming public lecture. The lecture is part of a series titled 'Thinking about Peace in Times of War' dedicated to ethical reflections on Ukraine, the Middle East, and Germany's responsibilities. The second lecture of the series, titled 'Dirty work? Why German politics' avoidance of reality is so dangerous for our country and Europe', will be delivered in German by Dr. Martin Lüders, Middle East expert and journalist. 

The lecture will take place at UHG Aula of FSU Jena at Fürstengraben 1, Jena, at 18:00 on 14 Janaury 2026.
