KonKoop Final Conference

Between 24-26 February 2026, KonKoop held its final conference. The event closed the 3.5 year research program that was aimed at mapping out conflict and cooperation in Eastern Europe. FSU Jena had been a core member of the research network, contributing with a project on secessionist conflicts in the post-Soviet space. Prof. Dr. Rafael Biermann was a principal investigator and member of the steering committee, and Géza Tasner participated in the Junior Researchers Group. In the final conference, Géza was a panelist, talking about the shifts in Russian influence in the South Caucasus, while Prof. Biermann chaired the panel.
